Level 1 courses are designed to enable novice level competitions to be organised in schools and gym clubs, and judged by you as a qualified judge. They are BG approved, and all candidates have to judge a number of floors and vaults for their practical exam, as well as a theory paper.

Candidates who have paid for the course (presently £55.00) will receive resources for the course by email, and a hard copy on the day. The course is scheduled to last for one day, including practical and theory exams. Those that achieve 60% overall in their judging will receive accreditation and a certificate from BG (subject to moderation).
