Cheam Gymnastics Club was "born" in June 1991. We provide enjoyable and rewarding gymnastics and trampolining for children of all ages and abilities. We endeavour to be the "spark" of trying new projects; of organising and hosting competitions; of promoting and training for simple displays which we all enjoy participating in and performing at local events, school fetes and local charity fundraisers.

As part of London Gymnastics General Gymnastics, we have previously organised and run coach and judge education programmes (something now managed by British Gymnastics); we have hosted LG Regional GGTC Competitions (now managed by the GfA committee) and have been involved in the London Borough of Sutton's gymnastics and trampoline teams for the London Youth Games. We have associated trampoline and recreational gymnastics clubs which cater for boys and girls of all ages. We run a holiday programme of gymnastics and trampoline courses (subject to demand), and children from all around Sutton and surrounding boroughs have come back year after year, many also joining the clubs.

The club is accredited with "GYMMARK" status. This is an official recognition by British Gymnastics and English Gymnastics as the club being a child friendly, safe and secure environment for children to train.
